Most Disliked
Some guests mention the challenging parking situation, especially during peak hours when the lot fills up quickly. This can be frustrating for those looking to dive into a delicious meal right away. Occasional service hiccups are noted, especially when the restaurant is busy, leading to longer wait times for refills or orders. As cozy as the atmosphere is, it sometimes gets warm, making some diners wish for better air conditioning. The restaurant is quite popular, meaning larger groups might experience a delay during busier times, especially during Sunday brunch when it reaches full capacity. A few guests have pointed out that the hustle and bustle can affect the overall calm dining experience.

Of Elias is the kind of Mexican restaurant you would like to go anytime of the day, smells good, food is delicious, I have to make up my mind if I want breakfast or lunch. Parking lot always full, need bigger parking space. But the ambiance inside it's like you can't wait to order, go and you'll see what I'm talking about, so good!

We came in and ordered the enchiladas plates, short stack, cheese omelette and kids chicken tenders. Let me just say that everything was DELICIOUS!! Sergio our waiter, heck of guy!! Very attentive and courteous. The whole waiting staff were on task, loved that about this place. The atmosphere is pretty home like. Definitely a place to grab a bite if you’re here in Uvalde, TX. Definitely recommend and would come back👍🏼👍🏼

The place has lots of character, feels like an old country town inside and it’s cozy. The food is super yummy and the coffee is hot and delicious. The service at the table was kinda not that pleasant and couldn’t get a refill on my coffee, BUT I get that they are super busy and have a lot going on. The lady at the cashier’s counter was amazing. She made me feel appreciated.

This place should get 10 Stars! Really good old Tex-Mex food. Super friendly staff. Very "Texas friendly". This place is usually full of folks/family but the wait is worth it.

It took a little bit for us to order since we were a big group with separate checks, but once we got our food, it was the best I’ve had in a while. The chicken fajita plate was well prepared and delicious. I tried my moms menudo and it reminded me of my Tio’s recipe who just passed away and made me very happy. I will be coming back next time we’re in Uvalde. The staff is very attentive and friendly but it was a little warm until the ac kicked on. Also the beans come with cheese if you’re picky like me, lol.

The food is really good. I'm not from the town of Uvalde, but my mom is, so anytime we visit we stop and eat here. Staff is friendly and pleasant. The menudo is very good, I highly recommend it. The tortillas are amazing, hot and fluffy, just like grandma used to make. Their tacos are very hearty and full, they don't go skimpy on the fillings. You won't regret making the pit stop to eat here.

This place is so authentic and good, the customer service is stellar . We met Sergio and he was so cool. The place is big and roomy, it’s like going t to someone’s house and eating their food. The place also has car ports to park your car to keep it cooler. Total score if you get lucky. This place is so welcoming , thank yall for the awesome experience.
